The municipality of Deià has two beaches. If you want to reach Cala Deià, you might arrive a bit tired, but you’ll be able to discover the wilder side of Mallorca and its stunning underwater world.
Cala Deià
Cala Deià is a small gravel beach on the western side of Mallorca, known for its turquoise waters and stunning rocky landscape with cliffs and caves. It is ideal for snorkeling and diving. Access is challenging, with limited parking, and the final stretch can only be reached on foot.
Es Canyaret
Es Canyaret is a beach about 50 meters long on the western side of Mallorca, near Llucalcari. Surrounded by large rocks and sometimes rough waters, it is not very crowded. The beach is rocky, so proper footwear is recommended. It offers a natural setting among pine trees and rocks, ideal for diving and mud baths. The water is clear and sparkling. To get there, take the C-710 to the village of Llucalcari. From there, access is steep and challenging, with a 15-minute walk through the forest.
