In some of these beaches, you will still find only locals, as the beaches of the municipality of Felanitx are not yet very well known, except for Cala Serena. Most are surrounded by cliffs and caves, which not only offers dreamlike beaches but also the opportunity to venture out and explore.
Cala Brafi
Cala Brafi is a small cove in the east of Mallorca, with a Mediterranean atmosphere and no crowds of tourists. It is a natural beach, so there may be seaweed and it does not have any services. It is an ideal place for those seeking an unspoiled natural environment. Additionally, there is an old building near the water that provides good photography opportunities. Access is via a trail from the Cala Marçal urbanization, followed by about 300 meters on foot.
Cala Marçal
Cala Marçal (also known as Caló d'en Marçal) is a wide and splendid beach on the eastern side of Mallorca, near Portocolom. With a large stretch of fine white sand, it offers a gentle entrance to the sea and is surrounded by low rocks. It is a very popular spot, with well-developed services that include numerous facilities and activities. To get there, take the PM-401-2 from Portocolom.
Cala Sa Nau
Cala Sa Nau is a tranquil beach on the eastern side of Mallorca, with fine sand and surrounded by an impressive landscape of limestone cliffs. It is very popular among locals and offers a relaxed atmosphere. Nearby is the Cova des Muro, a small cave with an entrance and a window. To get there, take the PM-401-2 towards Felanitx, and upon reaching the village of S'Horta, follow the signs to the beach.
Cala Serena
Cala Serena is a beautiful and peaceful cove on the eastern side of Mallorca, located near Cala d'Or and right next to the Robinson Club. The beach is known for its fine sand and its stunning low cliffs, which contain numerous caves. To get there, from Cala d'Or, pass by Cala Ferrera beach and continue until you reach a staircase that descends directly to the cove.
La Platja de S’Arenal Gran de Porto Colom
S'Arenal Gran de Porto Colom Beach (La Platja de S'Arenal Gran / also known as Platja Gran) is a lively sandy beach in the east of Mallorca, surrounded by tamarind trees and featuring fine golden sand. It offers a gentle access to the water and has a floating platform that serves as a trampoline. The beach provides the usual amenities, making it ideal for a day out with family or friends. To get there, follow the PM-401-2, turn left in Portocolom, and continue along the harbor. The beach access is located 500 meters after Es Babo.
