Who doesn’t know about Arenal beach? It is famous for its wild parties and excesses. However, the beach is actually beautiful, with its fine white sand. But those seeking tranquility should look elsewhere. Still, the municipality of Llucmajor offers an alternative for beach visitors.
Cala Mosques
Cala Mosques is a series of small coves in the south of Mallorca. It features a rocky coastline but offers nice sand where you enter the water. It is mainly frequented by locals living in the area and does not have any services. To get there, take the PM-601-4 from S'Arenal towards the Cala Blava urbanization.
Platja de Cala Pi
Cala Pi Beach is a picturesque cove in the south of Mallorca, known for its fine sand and lively atmosphere, making it ideal for families due to its proximity to a playground. This popular spot among photographers offers excellent snorkeling opportunities in its clear waters. Behind the beach, you'll find a small canyon that adds a special touch to the surroundings. From Cala Pi, you can enjoy a beautiful short walk to Cala Beltrán. The beach is accessible via a staircase located in the restaurant area of Cala Pi. To get there, take the road towards Llucmajor, turn right towards Cap Blanc, and follow the signs.
Platja de S’Arenal
S'Arenal Beach (also known as Platja de S'Arenal) is a lively beach in the south of Mallorca, internationally visited, with a large presence of Germans and Dutch visitors. It stretches from the small port of Arenal to Balneario 4. Famous for its festive atmosphere during the summer, it offers fine sand, gentle access to the sea, and palm trees along the beach. To get there, follow the PM-601 or the PM-19 from Palma towards S’Arenal.
