Does Manacor not have a beach? The town, being inland, naturally does not have a beach. However, the municipality of Manacor includes some beautiful beaches that are quite well-known, while others are still well-kept secrets of Mallorca.
Cala Anguila
Cala Anguila is a charming beach in the east of Mallorca, located near Cala Mendia. It is characterized by its fine white sand and very shallow turquoise waters. Surrounded by cliffs and an impressive cave, it has a picturesque feel. It is an ideal spot for water sports. To get there, take the PM-401-4 towards Cala Mendia; from there, Cala Anguila is accessed by a staircase.
Cala Antena
Cala Antena is a small cove in the east of Mallorca, surrounded by cliffs and featuring an impressive cave. The beach has fine white sand and is accessed by descending 141 steps from the ramp that starts on the street. The cove is flanked by Cala Domingos and Cala Magraner, and there are two nearby beach bars where you can enjoy drinks and light meals. Glass-bottom boats offer excursions. To get there, follow the route from Portocolom towards Portocristo, and then follow the sign for "Cales de Mallorca." Free parking is available.
Cala Domingos
Cala Domingos is a beautiful double cove in the east of Mallorca, featuring fine white sand and crystal-clear waters. It is easily accessible, with a small staircase, making it great for families. The cove offers a beach bar and activities such as pedal boating and snorkeling. Although it can get crowded, especially during peak season, there is free street parking available. To get there, follow the route from Portocolom towards Portocristo and look for the "Cala Domingos" sign.
Cala Falcó
Cala Falcó is a small beach with only 2 square meters of sand. Its crystal-clear water and underwater caves for diving make it special. Without services, it is clean and generally empty. Cala Varques is very close, just an hour's walk from Cala Romántica.
Cala Mendia
Cala Mendia (also known as Cala Mandía) is a wide beach in the east of Mallorca. It is characterized by its fine white sand and very shallow turquoise waters. The surroundings consist of wooded cliffs, creating a picturesque landscape. It is ideal for activities such as snorkeling and pedal boating. To get there, take the PM-401-4 from Portocristo or Portocolom towards Cala Mendia.
Cala Murada
Cala Murada is a beautiful beach in the east of Mallorca, featuring fine sand and a gentle access to the sea. Surrounded by a picturesque landscape, it is ideal for enjoying activities such as mini-golf and water sports. To get there, follow the route from Portocolom towards Portocristo and look for the "Cala Murada" signs. Free parking is available.
Cala Romántica (S`Estany d`en Mas)
Cala Romántica (also known as S'Estany d'en Mas) is a beach in the east of Mallorca, featuring fine white sand and clear turquoise water. It is quite popular and offers a sailing school, as well as boat and surfboard rentals. Additionally, activities such as pedal boating, surfing, and sailing can be enjoyed. To get there, follow the PM-610 south from Portocristo. There is free parking available.
Cala Varques
Cala Varques is a nudist beach in the east of Mallorca, set in a natural, undeveloped environment. The beach is surrounded by cliffs with beautiful caves, and the water is a vibrant turquoise color. It is very popular with locals and does not have any services. To get there, follow the road from Portocolom to Portocristo and take the path to the right that leads to the beach. You can also hike from Cala Romántica, which takes about an hour.
Caló d’En Rafalino
Cala Rafalino (Caló d'En Rafalino) is a small cove in the east of Mallorca, near the Cala Morlanda urbanization. This pebble and rock beach offers crystal-clear waters and an unspoiled natural environment, making it ideal for snorkeling. The cove has no facilities and allows nudism. To reach it, follow a 400-meter walking path from the tourist center of Cala Morlanda (S'Illot).
Platja de Porto Cristo
Porto Cristo Beach (Platja de Porto Cristo) is located in the east of Mallorca, near the Plaza de la Sirena in Porto Cristo. It is a wide beach with golden sand and a gentle access to the sea. It is very busy and offers activities such as pedal boating and surfing. To get there, follow the PM-402 or PM-401-4 and look for signs towards Plaza d'en Blau. Free parking is available.
