Beaches and coves in the north of Mallorca

The north of Mallorca offers wild, unique, and, above all, natural beaches. Pebble coves and beaches surrounded by rocks, with mostly calm waves, provide great water fun for families with small children.

Additionally, swimmers, sun lovers, and water sports enthusiasts, such as kitesurfers, will also find what they are looking for here. One of the most popular spots among kitesurfers is the stretch of beach at Son Serra de Marina, located in the residential area of the same name. Here, strong winds often blow.

Arenal d’En Cassat

There are no services available at this cove. To reach Cala des Camps, you can access it from Colònia de Sant Pere. Keep in mind that the nearby parking area often fills up quickly.

Cala Estreta

Cala Estreta is a romantic and small cove in eastern Mallorca, located near Cala Mitjana. This cove is entirely rocky, with no sand, and features a beautiful seabed, making it ideal for snorkeling. Being a secluded cove, it does not offer any services. To reach Cala Estreta, follow the road from Artà towards Capdepera. After about 10 km, at a roundabout, turn left onto the path leading to the cove. There are parking options near the cove.

Cala Matzoc

Cala Matzoc is a romantic and secluded cove located near Cala Mitjana, in eastern Mallorca. This beach is rarely visited due to its remote location, surrounded by high cliffs that offer stunning views. The cove is situated in an area rich in flora and fauna. Access to Cala Matzoc can be made on foot from Cala Estreta, with a walk of about 2.5 km.

Cala Mitjana

Dreamy sandy beach, undeveloped, dune landscape with diverse plant life, crystal-clear water, no services! Cala Mitjana beach is located in the east of Mallorca. From Artà, head towards Capdepera, and after just under 10 km, turn left at a roundabout to reach the beach.

Cala Murta

This stretch of beach extends for approximately five kilometers of untouched coastline, surrounded by pine trees and natural dunes. The sand is very fine, and the sea access is gentle. It is a popular spot among local residents due to its natural and peaceful environment. To reach Platja Es Comú, head towards Port d'Alcúdia, where free parking is available.
