Skyhelicopters - Experience scenic helicopter flights in Mallorca

By Verena Gemmel, updated on

If you want to glide over soft pink carpets of flowers, book a helicopter flight over Mallorca between mid-January and mid-February. Skyhelicopters offers scenic tourist flights.

There are three routes to choose from: The “Tour Valldemossa” (25 minutes) takes you north over the Sierra de Tramuntana. You’ll admire the estate of American actor Michael Douglas, a property that can only be visited by air. Additionally, you’ll fly over the picturesque coastal villages of Port de Sóller and Valldemossa. To finish, you’ll see the marina of Palma and Bellver Castle.

A true VIP flight is the “Tour Sa Dragonera” (25 minutes). In addition to Michael Douglas’s estate, you’ll also get a glimpse of the properties of Claudia Schiffer and Michael Schumacher. You’ll also see the Marivent Palace, the summer residence of the Spanish royal family. The flight takes you southwest over Portals Nous, Camp de Mar, and Port d’Andratx.

Does half an hour seem too short? Then book the “Tour Formentor” (55-60 minutes). This route passes over the bays of Pollenca and Alcúdia to the tip of the island. On the return flight, you’ll fly over the spectacular mountain formation Torrent de Pareis in the Sierra de Tramuntana.

Important: The minimum number of participants for scenic flights is four people. Want to fly a completely customized route? No problem, as you can hire Skyhelicopters as an air taxi. It’s all a matter of price. Additionally, the helicopters are used for fighting forest fires, filming movies, transporting cargo, or rescuing people.
