The area around Binissalem is known as Mallorca’s main wine region. In recent years, the winemakers of Binissalem have earned an international reputation with their excellent red, rosé, white, and sparkling wines. A distinctive feature: they mainly cultivate the native Mallorcan grape varieties Manto Negro and Moll. The red wines have a high alcohol content and a strong personality. They are full-bodied, harmonious, and suitable for aging. The white wines are considered distinct, delicate, and fruity.
